Michael's marketing philosophy can be summed up in one word "exposure". "You can't just put a sign in the yard and expect a home to sell". He employs a variety of marketing techniques, from his huge web presence with his listings placed on over a 167 different websites to eflyers, full color brochures, office tours and direct mail. His listings are placed on sites such as Zillow.com, Realtor.com, CENTURY21.com, Craigslist.org, Trulia.com and Youtube.com, just to name a few. He also employs social networking sites such as LinkedIn.com, Facebook.com and Twitter.com. Keeping active in the blogging community with sites like ActiveRain.com and Zillow.com is another important real estate tool.

Michael loves working with buyers and services clientele from the first-time buyers all the way up to the multi-million dollar ranges. "It doesn't matter the price of the home. The level of service should be outstanding since this is a big decision no matter how much you spend". Michael provides automatic email alerts to his clients with a special program that sweeps the entire MLS database every half hour so that his clients are the 1st to see the great deals. Michael also gets a heads-up from some of the area foreclosure agents, so his clients typically see them before they hit the market. "It's my job to give them options and then help protect them after they have made the decision". His marketing obviously works as he has been a top agent with CENTURY 21 for the past decade, and is a member of the prestigious Centurion Honor Society. He has also attained the Quality Service Award consistently since 2006.

Michael Killmer graduated from West High School and then attended Ricks College in Idaho before transferring to San Diego where he majored in business and marketing. He has several real estate designations, and has an arsenal of continuing educational certificates including:

He believes that the more he knows about the differences in each transaction, the better he is equipped to counsel his clients. As an Associate Broker, he has taken the additional requirements required by the state for this licensing, including Real Estate Law and Brokerage Management. He continues to gain valuable insight through education with over 30 clock hours per renewal of his license.

 

Michael enjoys a wonderful personal life. He has been married to his wife, Michelle, for 18 years. They have two children, Koren and Jason, which have both either graduated or are still attending Mukilteo schools. They have an active lifestyle, which is why they live in the Pacific Northwest.
